Practical experience is of high importance in our Bachelor's degree in Social Work. For this reason, a professional internship is of great importance. In total, you will complete 375 hours of workplace internships. Internships abroad are also supported during this course.
Work and study – as this course is part time, you can put your training into practice at work. Keep in mind, however, that the scope of study is difficult to balance with a full-time job. We, therefore, recommend working a maximum of 30 hours a week during your Bachelor's degree programme.
Study abroad: Take advantage of the chance to do a semester abroad and learn about social work in other countries to improve your intercultural skills. You have the opportunity to do this in your fourth semester through a stay at one of our numerous partner universities.
