Research at the Department of Information Technologies & Digitalisation combines regional relevance with international science. Thematically and methodologically, our research is closely linked to our study programs and focuses on the areas of AI and Data Science, Cyber Security, as well as Systems Engineering and Architectures. These fields intersect with application areas such as Industrial Automation, Smart Grid, Smart City, Retail, and Medical Imaging. We are very proud to have three research centers currently at our department. Additionally, there are over twenty different research projects.
