The MultiMediaArt Master's degree provides advanced skills in concept development, content development, production and management of projects within the creative industries. MultiMediaArt represents the nexus between different areas of the creative industries. We offer the opportunity to specialise in audio, film, communication design or producing.

Why study for a Master's in MultiMediaArt at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences?

The degree programme focuses on the development and implementation of sophisticated, cross-media projects, such as feature films and documentaries, games and virtual reality projects, cross-media designs or interactive media installations. You will work in teams with colleagues from other specialisations. Intensive project coaching accompanies the realisation. 

The MultiMediaArt Master's programme combines creative and design excellence with a high level of technical expertise against a background of reflective examination of society, media and culture.

Programme content and specialisations

In the MultiMediaArt Master's degree programme, you can specialise your skills in film, communication design, audio or producing. Based on media and art theory, you will develop your skills in one of the chosen specialisations. As the ‘masterpiece’ of your multimedia training, you will work on an interdisciplinary Master's project together with colleagues from different specialisations. Working together with producers, artists and sound designers, you will develop a professional project that meets the highest creative and technical standards.
