In 2016, students at the Kuchl campus founded the "klubkuchl". The club is an initiative by students for students.
Curiositas
Curiositas is an association that promotes critical thinking. It offers students and interested parties a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing megatrends and consumer decisions. Therefore, regular event series are organised and implemented by the students to discuss and reflect on significant topics together with experts. In addition to the series of events, market research is also carried out to prepare the students to make reflective management and consumption decisions in the future.
Erasmus Student Network (ESN)
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe, founded in 1989 for supporting and developing student exchange.

Scientists4Future - Students4Future
The consequences of climate change are being felt dramatically in many areas of life. From more frequent weather extremes, storms, floods to dry periods and crop failures. This affects us in Salzburg just as much as in supposedly more vulnerable distant regions. OUR livelihoods are at stake. Therefore, we must act NOW to ensure a healthy and livable future for all.
For this reason of urgency, students at the University of Salzburg have come together to form Students For Future Salzburg.
"As students we have great potential for positive change. We can put pressure on politicians to pass necessary legislation. We can implement changes at our universities to make Salzburg even "greener" and more sustainable as an educational location. And of course, we can each individually make a difference by striving for a sustainable lifestyle ourselves."
