The story centres on a young woman who shapes her life and relationships independently and confidently, without seeking approval or recognition from others. A modern coming-of-age story that captivates with its strong female perspective.

The prize, endowed with 4,000 euros, is awarded by the City of Salzburg together with drehbuchFORUM Wien and offers additional support in the development of the screenplay by dramaturge Bernadette Weigel.

Congratulations to Mareike Färber and a big thank you to the jury, consisting of Lukas V. Rinner, Clara Stern and Beate Thalberg, for their dedicated selection.

The award winner: MultiMediaArt graduate Mareike Färber, born in Kassel, has lived in Austria since 2023 and combines artistic work with teaching activities in the field of film at the Department of Creative Technologies at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
