Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are technologies that permeate almost every aspect of life and work, becoming indispensable. With the Master's programme in AI for Sustainable Technologies, you will become responsible shapers of a future where AI supports people in a sustainable manner. In the programme, you will focus on the two central concepts of 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'Sustainable Technology Development' and learn to combine your technical competencies in Data Science and Software Engineering with your skills in designing and discussing Sustainable AI.

Language of instruction:German (About 40 percent of the classes are held in English.)
Tuition:€ 363,- per semester + Euro 24.70 student union fee per semester
Teaching times:Planned as follows:
 
  • one afternoon from 15:15 (Mon or Tue or Wed, but always the same day), maximum 6 units
  • Friday all day from 08:15 (max. 8 units, lunch break)
  • on average every second Saturday all day (max. 8 units), with approx. 50 percent of these days taking place online - i.e. probably approx. 3 Saturdays on-site
  • In each semester there is a block week (Mon-Fri) in the middle of the semester (1st semester probably in November)
     
In the 3rd and 4th semester, the attendance time according to the curriculum is reduced from 20 SWS to approx. 17 SWS and 7 SWS respectively.

In project work, under the guidance of coaches, you will contribute your own ideas, develop future-proof solutions, and present them in portfolios and presentations. Interdisciplinary collaboration, agile approaches, and fact- and audience-oriented communication are emphasized, qualifying you for leadership positions in business and society.

As a master's student, you will also benefit from targeted integration into the research focuses of the Department of Information Technologies and Digitalisation, familiarizing yourself with scientific approaches to address current challenges.

The introduction of questions and solution approaches is therefore an integral part of the study, allowing you to reflect on your own experiences and work environment.
