To ensure that students in the master program Human-Computer Interaction can optimally advance their projects beside online classes we introduced the Mobile Prototyping Kit.
The HCI Prototyping Kit supports the creation of interactive artifacts and interaction design that goes beyond the computer screen. We are currently testing these kits with students in the second semester.
It is composed from several microcontroller units, different kinds of sensors and actuators, resistors, cables, LEDs etc. It also contains tools, such as a soldering iron, pliers or a hot glue gun. The kit serves to complement the HCI Prototyping Lab at the FH Salzburg and provides maximum flexibility for our students in their research and industry projects.
