As part of the “Welcome Days”, the International Office team welcomed 73 new incoming students from 25 nations who will spend the summer semester at the FH Salzburg.
A total of 73 students, including 14 Erasmus+ KA171 scholarship holders, will spend the summer semester 2025 at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
Extensive program & tandem learning
During the “Welcome Days”, the International Office welcomed the incoming students from 25 different countries. In addition to various information events on helpful topics such as the library, IT and eLearning, the social aspect was not neglected. During a city tour, the guest students were able to gain an initial overview of their “new home” and get to know each other better. A visit to the Gollinger waterfalls and socializing at the Augustinerbräu were also on the agenda.
The incoming students will also be accompanied this semester by the numerous buddy students who, as regular students, will provide them with advice and support and can themselves gain important experience for their own future stay abroad.
The incoming students have dared to step out of their comfort zone and are now facing an exciting and varied semester abroad. Over the next few months they will gain personal and academic experi-ence and through this enrichment they will also lay the foundations for a global job market. We look forward to welcoming them all to Salzburg University of Applied Sciences!
