Podcast Health Talk: Staying active with multiple sclerosis using digital support

The podcast "Health Talk" features current health topics from research and society in conversations with researchers and students from the Department of Health Sciences, as well as other experts and affected individuals. The first episode in 2025 deals with current research into multiple sclerosis and digital possibilities to support therapy.

Digital therapy companions can support therapy adherence, i.e. the regular performance of therapy sessions, as well as activity in everyday life for people with MS. One example of this is the MS Active app, which was closely scrutinised by patients, physiotherapists and occupational therapists in a study conducted by the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute. You can find out what the results were, what advantages the use of the app could bring for those affected and also what the future prospects are in the field of eHealth in Austria in an interview with the two physiotherapists Belinda Böhm and Tino Kulnik as well as Gül Ayten, who is affected by MS herself.
