For the fourth time, the “Change.Climate.Resilience” symposium brought together first-semester Bachelor's students and incoming students. The two-day symposium offers students a platform for exchange and aims to stimulate interdisciplinary discourse at the university. The central theme this year was “Resilience”.
The philosopher and author, Univ.-Prof. Dr. phil.Robert Pfaller opened the two-day exchange with a keynote speech. UAS Vice-Rector Günter Grall hosted the two-day event together with graduate and staff member Amelie Arrer. Lecturers and researchers from all six departments of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences provided input during the presentations and panel discussion. On the second day, the focus was on exchange. In small interdisciplinary groups, the students developed proposed solutions to various topics. The master's students from the Design & Product Management course were responsible for organizing the “Design Thinking Workshops”.
