Public Funding: Financing from the public sector
The right type of financing is a crucial issue for start-ups. Especially in the early stages of a company's existence, when it may not yet be possible to generate sales, capital is needed for various investments. For this reason, there are a variety of different funding instruments from the federal government and the state, including investment subsidies (cash grants), subsidised loans or assumption of liability for loans.
The expertise of ITG's Business Service helps in selecting the right subsidy. Hans-Christian Pfarrkirchner is head of innovation consulting at the Innovation Service for Salzburg (ITG) and will provide insight into the diverse possibilities of the funding landscape in Austria and the province of Salzburg. In a comprehensive input, the different funding opportunities and the dos and donts of funding will be addressed and explained. Afterwards, 1:1 sessions of 20 minutes each (max. 5 teams) can be booked to address your specific concerns and problems with the speaker on the following topics.
- What funding is available for my project?
- What is the application procedure?
- What do I have to consider when applying for funding? What are the requirements?
- Where and how do I find out about the different funding instruments?
- What are the differences between state and federal funding?
