The 2nd edition of the FH Teamathlon took place in the Waldbad Anif on 7 June 2024 in perfect weather and ideal conditions. Around 100 participants took part in 27 teams in the teamathlon in the disciplines of stand-up paddling, cycling, boccia and running.
Just after 3 p.m., the start took place for over 100 participants in 27 different teams, a diverse range of students, prospective students, graduates, teaching staff and employees of FH Salzburg.
The starters of each team had to cover 600 metres on the board before the imaginary baton was handed over to the cyclists. The route for the cyclists led from the Waldbad to the footbridge in Kaltenhausen and across the campus of the FH back to the start/finish area of the Waldbad, where the boccia players were already waiting impatiently for their team colleagues. 3 x 3 boules had to be thrown into a target circle 7 metres away before handing over to the final runners. The almost 6-kilometre running course literally led over two laps through the campus to the inner courtyard and back to the Waldbad, where the team colleagues were already eagerly awaiting the finish line.
The event was rounded off with an award ceremony and a cosy get-together with delicious food and drinks.
