The Department of Business & Tourism of FH Salzburg proudly invites you to our 1st International Teaching and Research Week from 7th to 11th April 2025.
We have designed this event to connect international teaching and research staff, to strengthen our networks, and identify international collaboration potential in teaching and research. Please consider requesting Erasmus+ Teaching or Training Mobility funding for your participation in our International Teaching & Research Week 2025.
Workshops, Networking, and Cultural Experience
Apart from Teaching Slots we offer for incoming teachers in a broad variety of subjects, we invite teaching and research staff of our partner universities to participate in Workshops regarding Media and AI use in the classroom and for research as well as our Research Exchange & Café. For those of you looking for a platform to exchange ideas on classroom and lesson, design and student engagement, a Poster Exhibition on best practice teaching examples provides further opportunities for discussions and networking. To round off your experience in beautiful Salzburg, we invite participants to a leisure program including a city tour full of historical anecdotes and spoil you with regional culinary delights.
Research Exchange & Café
Need additional dissemination for your research, want to inspire with your project or just to connect with other researchers in higher education institutions?
Participants in the Research Exchange & Café that takes place on 8th April within the International Teaching and Research Week 2025 present their projects and connect over project ideas as well as methodologies and funding opportunities.
Workshops
Open to research and teaching staff alike, we offer a selection of interesting workshops on AI and Media use in classrooms and for research.
How do didactic approaches need to embrace new technologies and media? Are there benefits in blending social and media supported learning in and outside classrooms and how to make this a valuable educational tool in today’s world? How does AI impact the conceptualization and implementation of research projects?
Detailed program and registration tool to follow.
Poster Exhibition
Are you looking for partners for a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) or a Collaborative Online International Learning project (COIL)? Are there any teaching formats you are successful with or are you looking for inspiration for how to spice up your classes? Present your class and/or connect with other teachers over didactics, small talk and coffee.
