One focus of the Department of Business and Tourism is the promotion of innovation in the hospitality and gastronomy sectors. Therefore, we organize the annual specialist event "Brennpunkt Innovation" in collaboration with SalzburgerLand Tourismus GmbH and BrauUnion under the Zipfer brand.
8th Brennpunkt Innovation on June 3, 2025
The Brennpunkt Innovation congress for the tourism industry brings together leading industry players, forward-thinkers, and all those interested in tourism on June 3, 2025, at FH Salzburg.
The 8th edition of Brennpunkt Innovation is once again organized by FH Salzburg, SalzburgerLand Tourismus, and Zipfer. This year's focus is on "The Future of Mobility." Look forward to exciting keynotes, inspiring discussions, and valuable networking opportunities with industry experts.
A highlight of the event is once again the Zipfer Tourism Award and the Zipfer Student Award ceremony. Outstanding tourism projects will be honored—whether from the hospitality sector, the event industry, or experiential tourism. Under the motto "More Holiday Joy for Guests," innovative and sustainable ideas with model potential for regions, destinations, or businesses will be recognized.
